As you may have noticed (many people have and to you I say thanks for the persistent emails!) my free template download links have been broken.
I’m happy to say that my latest logo created for the Sysop Group has been featured (along with many other of my logos) in the LogoPond gallery.
Today the Web Design Directory received it’s 100th link! Meaning that there are now 100 quality links to web sites covering all different aspects of web design. Don’t forget to add your own link if you haven’t already!
… I can’t really think of a more descriptive title than that, so it will have to do! Any way… moving on. This is a technique that I use on 95% of web sites that I build, indeed any that have a logo which will be appearing in the header
A client has recently asked me to create, as part of a new web site a navigation system whereby when the user hovers over one of the links, some descriptive text about that link pops up to the right thus giving the user some more insight as to what that link actually does/where it actually goes. “No problem” I thought…

These contests are run in a simple format;
Any body who has visited my web site recently will have noticed that I stripped all interactivity from it, and created a very plain, sterile environment in which to showcase my work. The reasoning was simple - I rarely updated my blog and the design was fairly bandwidth intense, so it was gutted and re-done. What surprised me most after this redesign however, was the amount of emails I received saying they missed the old site, and rarely updated blog! How shocked I was. Which is what brings me onto this further redesign which is now about the 7th incarnation of Six Shooter Media… How time flies…
