Six Shooter Media - Reborn
Any body who has visited my web site recently will have noticed that I stripped all interactivity from it, and created a very plain, sterile environment in which to showcase my work. The reasoning was simple - I rarely updated my blog and the design was fairly bandwidth intense, so it was gutted and re-done. What surprised me most after this redesign however, was the amount of emails I received saying they missed the old site, and rarely updated blog! How shocked I was. Which is what brings me onto this further redesign which is now about the 7th incarnation of Six Shooter Media… How time flies…
The first thing I’ve re-introduced is the use of a CMS which I forgo in my previous design. Of course, WordPress is my weapon of choice, and it has been used for the entirety of this site. Mainly for it’s ease of blog integration, on-the-go site editing and interactivity via comments… not to mention the thousands of awesome plugins available.
The design itself is nothing fancy, but with this version of Six Shooter Media I have tried to target my work more than my blog or free templates as I am well aware of my below par blog update abilities. Hey, if I can produce one entry a month, then everything is cool.
A little update on myself? Not much to report really, sir. Work is good, and currently undergoing some exciting developments which I will hopefully be writing about soon. I’m trying to get back into reading books again and have started to re-read one of my favorite Stephen King novels - The Tommyknockers. It’s difficult though, with TV shows such as Prison Break, Lost, Scrubs and Heroes taking up more of my free time than I should allow!
So, that’s it. Told you my blogging skills were poor, but it is good to have a more interactive and functional web site once again. Hurrah.

I still don’t have a blog set up, and I like all three designs: Return of the Animated GIF, Sterility, and Reborn (that is what I am calling them). You should release your old site designs as templates, because they are awesome, and it saves effort.
Hey Jason, if you like animated gifs then you should take a look at the Arai UK web site that I’ve designed when it goes live, I’ve used quite a few of them in there
Yeah, I could release them as templates, I’ve said that before though and never got around to it -.-, I will try harder this time!
Slight glitch with the comments box: Leave a Reply needs its own line.
Hi James. I’m really glad your back. Great site btw!

Lovely site Jay, keeping up your high standards yet again.

Hi James,
I visited your site quite some times and just like what other people said, I do missed your old site. In fact, I prefer it more than your previous plain and sterile site.
I’m glad you’re back.
