BCRP xhtml/css coding

I was approached by the Business Crime Reduction Partnership with a request to refine their company intranet web site. The old intranet web site was coded using tables and didn’t stand up well in all modern browsers, displaying inconsistently in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari for Mac.
I was briefed to recode specific pages, creating a template system which could be used to recreate the web site. I produced the code in XHTML 1.0 transitional using CSS for all of the styling of elements. The finished result it a web site which displays flawlessly in all modern browsers, is quicker to load, and holds a more consistent style throughout the site.
